Im lucky enough to live in a small town far enough away from a major city. We have our own “node” or w/e you call it and do not share the line with Albany. When TWC first promised us RoadRunner it was about 4 years before they actually got it to us but it was worth the wait because it was basically uncapped, or at least well above the speeds I am capped at now.

The problem is they havent invested any money in equipment or infrastructure and the costs keep going up. My DVR box and cable modem could possibly be wooden. Both suck equally and require constant hard reboots. I recently bought my own modem and cancelled my cable tv package now that I have my popcorn hour. Just wish I had a better choice for ISPs, its either dial up or TWC here.
